This is a student-generated silent fiim shown at St Mary Redcliffe's in Bristol for the centenary celebrations of Sir John Betjeman's life in September 2006.
The film was part of a collaboration with BroadcastLab - project managed by Pippa Williams. The film was made by second year Interactive Media students Chris Stitchman with Nick Miller and Jonathan Hickley (Artswork Student Fellow). It used footage from BBC Archives mixed with location shots 50 years on.
Guests at the event included Peter Blake, Sir Trevor Macdonald, Richard Briers and current Poet Laureate, Andrew Motion. The exhibition and film will be shown in early 2007 at Bath School of Art & Design in the newly refurbished gallery.
