Artivists Arts Volunteers

Artivists welcomes designers, makers and visual artists wishing to gain experience of working with community groups, improve their skills and explore future opportunities for work in the creative industries. If you are reliable, self-motivated and committed as well as creative then there may be a place for you at Artivists.
Textile Artists & Makers

Artivists are due to launch their new website soon, promoting a clothing and accessories label made from locally produced, quality goods which celebrate the use of recycled materials. Volunteers are sought to make samples and prototypes. These may be considered for inclusion in our virtual, on-line shop.. If there is sufficient interest generated in these items, Artivists may commission you to become a regular supplier. If you already have items you have made and would like to sell through Artivists website, then send us an attachment with images of your work. Please note: Artivists cannot guarantee, your work will be chosen to feature on our site.

Arts Outreach Volunteer

Help promote Artivists services. Visit lots of different organisations and attend network meetings, to talk about what we do. For this position you will need to be articulate, communicative and possibly have an interest in marketing.

Events Organiser Volunteer

Help to organise and deliver participatory arts activities in community settings for fund raising purposes. For this position you will need very good organisational skills, be able to work alongside varied types of people and think of innovative ways of engaging different interest groups.

Web Editor Volunteer

Competent web editor needed to add content, improve features, promote forthcoming events , maintain active blogging on social networking sites, develop and monitor online forums and optimise Artivists web presence.
