Six high-specification labs explore learning across the creative industries.
Artswork comprises six learning labs; each provides a stimulating and inspiring learning environment for students and is equipped with the industry standard technologies you would expect in any leading creative workspace. In addition, the labs promote scholarly activity; enabling teaching and support staff to reflect upon and research their teaching practice and enhance their subject knowledge and vocational skills. Six Senior Teaching Fellows, along with dedicated technicians, support staff and Student Fellows, lead the academic work of each lab and develop and investigate new models of teaching and learning. Working with the Centre, labs act as an effective, creative interface with employers and broker mutually beneficial relationships between students, colleagues and the wider world.
