In the realm of creative music technology, staff, students and visiting practitioners are making excellent use of the impressive physical resource of the MusicLab, a multi-room recording studio featuring 5.1 surround. The facility provides the very highest standards of hardware and software in optimal learning environments in which Senior Teaching Fellow Nicholas Sargent has been able to develop innovative, extended 'real-world' sessions. Students and staff are now able to engage at a level of technical and creative detail hitherto impossible.
